HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THE TINY HOUSE NEED TO ACCOMMODATE?

Include numbers of adults, children and any pets that will be living in the Tiny house most of the time.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF YOUR TINY HOUSE?

Are you looking for something to live in yourself? Extra guest accommodation? Air Bnb?

WHAT BUDGET DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUR TINY HOUSE?

Our builds have ranged from $45,000 to $150,000. Your budget will never compromise the quality of your tiny house. We will always build top quality but will adjust the size and materials used to suit your budget.

DOES YOUR TINY HOUSE NEED TO BE MOVED REGULARLY?

This will indicate how big your tiny house can be and what type of trailer will be required. Consider things like the land you will put the tiny house on. Do you own it or are you leasing it? Leasing it might mean you have to move on one day. Owning the land might mean you can build a more permanent tiny house on foundations.

HOW DO YOU WANT YOUR TINY HOUSE TO LOOK?

Consider the shape, exterior cladding, windows. Do you want something modern looking, rustic or industrial?

UTILITIES

How do you want to power your Tiny House? Do you want Solar power? Plug into mains? Both? Gas hot water or electric?

FUNCTIONALITY

LAYOUT

Do you require single level living or a loft? Perhaps 2 lofts? bedrooms up stairs or down stairs? Kitchen and bathroom at opposite ends? Kitchen along the end walls or down the side walls? If you're unsure we can help with this based on the intended purpose of your tiny house.

KITCHEN

Are you a budding chef? Or do you just require the basics? The kitchen is a really important feature of your Tiny House. We have lots of clever ideas to really maximise the use of space

BATHROOM

Do you require a large shower? A Bath? Perhaps a Shub? Shub’s are a great option for families, providing a tub that’s plenty big enough for the kids to splash in without taking up the space required for a full-sized bathtub. Composting toilet or flushing? Composting toilets can range from a Bamboo Loo to an Air Head.

LAUNDRY

Do you require laundry facilities? Laundry facilities can be in the kitchen, bathroom or even in a garden shed outside to save space. Have a think about what would best suit you.

ANY OTHER SPECIFICATIONS YOU WOULD LIKE TO INCLUDE?

You might have some second-hand items you want included in your tiny house such as family heirlooms, leadlight windows, your own furniture?

DO YOU NEED YOUR TINY HOUSE DELIVERED?

You can pick up your Tiny House from our workshop in Martinborough, Wairarapa. You will need to have a tow vehicle capable of towing up to 3.5T. Or we can deliver your Tiny House for you. Provide us with your address so we can calculate delivery costs.
